Tips for Washing & Longevity

Shell jackets should rarely be washed. Instead of washing, you can simply wipe the jacket down with a cloth if it gets dirty. But when you do need to wash it, here are some tips to help you keep your jacket looking its best for as long as possible.

When you do wash:

Turn your jacket inside out.
Wash at 40°C max.
Use mild detergent without enzymes and chemicals.
Don’t use fabric softener.
High spin speed (1200-1400 RPM) is acceptable due to the polyester material.
Tumble dry is acceptable to re-activate the membrane.

Additional Care:

Impregnation: Impregnate your jacket once per season to maintain its waterproof properties.
